Last week, within the scope of the School Sports activities program, our badminton teams competed in the Youth Girls’ and Boys’ Provincial Championship.
Last week, in the School Sports Provincial Basketball Tournament held with the participation of 10 school teams, our basketball team advanced to the final and finished as provincial runners-up. We congratulate our students for their successful performance throughout the tournament and for the achievement they earned!
On Sunday, December 21, our 1st Term Parent Meeting for the 2025–2026 academic year, held for our 9th and 10th grade students, was conducted with strong participation from parents.
As part of Destination Imagination (DI) Türkiye activities—a project-based international learning program that blends STEM education with arts and social entrepreneurship—our robotics team Technosapiens achieved first place in the Remodeling category at the Instant Challenge Festival, held in Ankara on Saturday, December 20, with the participation of 38 schools. Congratulations, Technosapiens!
On Sunday, 21.02.2025, at the Türkiye Chess Federation Bitlis Minors and Juniors Chess Provincial Tournament hosted by our school, our students achieved outstanding success. Burak A., Mustafa Eren D., Şevin Rojbin Y., Muhammed Miraç A., Zeynep Jinda A., Yusuf Ş., and Rahime K. won gold medals; Muhammed Eren G., Eflin I., Hasan A., Şadya O., and Yusuf B. won silver medals; and Harun Roni I., Züleyha G., Miran A., and Elif Ece A. won bronze medals. We congratulate our students, who earned a total of 7 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze medals, on their excellent performance.
Our Table Tennis Team finished second in the province among 21 teams at the School Sports Table Tennis Competitions. We congratulate our students on their success as they fought their way to the final match.
In the School Sports Provincial Swimming Championships, Zeynep Ela Y. achieved a total of 4 first-place finishes, Elif Ece A. achieved 4 first-place finishes, Furkan Ç. earned 2 first-place, 1 second-place, and 1 third-place finish, and Rohat Ç. achieved 1 third-place finish. We congratulate all our students for their outstanding performance!
On the second day of the excursion program, our prep classes visited the Feza Gürsey Science Center, the Word Museum, the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, the Gordion Museum and the Tumulus of King Midas. In these significant scientific and historical sites, our students had the opportunity to explore different disciplines and experience cultural heritage firsthand.
Our prep classes took part in an enriching two-day educational trip to Ankara.
On Saturday, December 6, we took part in the 18th IB Day event organized by the Turkish Private Schools Association (TÖZOK) and hosted by Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, with the participation of our School Principal Mert Kadıoğlu and International Programs Coordinator Derrick Allen.

On Saturday, 29 November, our Prep Classes’ Parent–Teacher Conference for the first term of the 2025–2026 academic year took place with strong participation.
Our students prepared a small surprise filled with great meaning for their teachers. We extend our gratitude to all teachers who shape the future with their dedication and wish them a happy Teachers’ Day.
We commemorated the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect and remembrance on the anniversary of his passing. Throughout the week, our students reinterpreted Atatürk’s intellectual legacy through presentations, experiments, bulletin board work, digital projects, and representative speeches across different disciplines; his emphasis on science, reason, production, and free thought was once again brought to light. This process was not merely a commemoration, but an effort to carry Atatürk’s legacy from today into the future.
During the event, students from some of the world’s leading universities—Harvard, Oxford, San Raffaele, Bocconi, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Vanderbilt, and Koç University—shared their academic experiences with our students in the fields of engineering, information technology, medicine, and fundamental sciences.
Raising generations with free minds and free consciences is the greatest gift to our Republic. Happy 102nd Anniversary of our Republic, strengthened through education.

We participated in the TARMUN'25 Model United Nations Conference with our ErenMUN Club students.
In collaboration with CATS Cambridge Summer Schools, 46 of our students are participating in a two-week language program in the cities of Cambridge and Canterbury during the summer of 2025. Our students are not only taking English classes in an international environment with peers from around the world, but also gaining first-hand experience of the UK’s educational culture.
Last week, our 9th grade students embarked on an unforgettable journey of history and culture as part of the Çanakkale Victory Trip. They visited the battlefields where the Çanakkale Epic was written, witnessing key turning points in our nation’s history and paying their respects at memorials and martyrs’ cemeteries.
